What is Taiwan known for?

Personally, I feel that different people has different view of what Taiwan is known for. Below are some of what I feel as Taiwan is known for in my perspective.

1. Chinese Pop

A small island like Taiwan is well known as a buzzing city that attracts people with its culture, sceneries and its entertainment background.

In my point of view, I feel that the island is like a headquarters for Chinese pop music whereby people who wish to succeed in the industry meet. Artist like Jay zhou, Jolin Tsai, Lee Hom has made it to the overseas market and brought fame to Taiwan. Taiwan also has regular concerts events that attract people that are interested in mando-pop. These artists are like the representative of Taiwan.

2. Cuisine

Besides that, Taiwan Food and Beverage is also another very popular feature known by everyone. This can be evident from the first crazes that were brought over to Singapore, the bubble tea. Other example of beverage that Taiwan is well known for is it’s the local delights like the Oolong Tea and Tie Guanyin. Shilin Mee Sua is also another popular snack in Taiwan. Its Taiwanese delights has gainmuch popularity that it can be seen in many Asia region.

3. Drama

On top of that, I would relate Taiwan with the famous television drama. Many people might not have been to Taiwan would have known Taiwan through the TV programmes and that definitely is the case for myself too. The dramas reflect the culture of its people and allow me to understand Taiwan as a whole.

4. Hot Springs!

Nevertheless, ranked being the world's top 15 hot spring site, Taiwan is one of the must see destination in Asia.

It is being regarded as having a wide variety of spring and having the most concentration of hot spring in the region. From hot sping to cold spring and even mud spring can be found in Taiwan. Having more than hundred of hot springs, the northern part of Taiwan has the most hot springs found. Some example are the Xinbeitou hot spring and Jiaoxi hot spring.
